[Yolobus Public Announcement] YOLOBUS Re-route during Tower Bridge Closure

YOLOBUS RE-ROUTE  DURING TOWER BRIDGE CLOSURE 

 

The Tower Bridge between West Sacramento and downtown Sacramento will be
closed to all vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic from October 16th at
10:00 p.m. to October 20th at 7:00 a.m. for the paving of the bridge span.
This project which started in July will rehabilitate the Tower Bridge deck
with a concrete and asphalt overlay and replace the expansion joints.

 

During this closure period, YOLOBUS routes will utilize the Pioneer Bridge,
rather than the Tower Bridge.  The re-route will result in the temporary
loss of bus stops on Capitol Mall in Sacramento.  YOLOBUS should be able to
access all other existing bus stops.  YOLOBUS Old Town riders  using  the
Capitol Mall bus stops could get off the bus on 5th just north of Capitol
Mall for inbound buses and board the bus  at 3rd  just south of Capitol Mall
on these days.
