Attention Yolobus Riders:

Effective September 1, some fares will increase as part of our fare
agreement with Sacramento Regional Transit (RT). The fares to ride Yolobus
have not increased; however, the amount for a transfer from Yolobus onto the
RT system has changed, along with the amounts for RT daily and monthly
passes.

* For Regular fare riders, the transfer amount will be $0.75, the
daily pass will be $5.00, and the monthly pass will be $85.00.

* For Senior/Disabled fare riders, the transfer amount will be $0.50,
the daily pass will be $2.50, and the monthly pass will be $42.50.

* For Student fare riders, the transfer amount will be $0.35, the
daily pass will be $2.50, and the monthly pass will be $34.00.

Effective September 1, 2006 Yolobus operators cannot accept Regional Transit
tickets that have an expiration date of August 31, 2006. In addition, you
will not be able to add money to an expired ticket. Any unused tickets can
be exchanged through Regional Transit's Customer Service Center, located at
1225 "R" Street, with access from the 13th Street light rail station in
downtown, Sacramento. For more information, please call RT's Customer
Service department at (916)321-2877.

We apologize for the inconvenience that the Regional Transit fare increase
has caused our Yolobus customers. New Regional Transit fare tickets will be
accepted on Yolobus. For example: if you are an express rider of Yolobus,
the one-way fare will still be $2.00 and the new Regional Transit single
fare ticket of $2.00 would be acceptable on the Yolobus express bus. If you
need to transfer onto a Regional Transit bus, there would be an additional
transfer fee.
