[Yolobus Public Announcement] RT June 22, 2009 Public Hearing on RT Fare Changes

Yolobus Riders: 

 

As a courtesy, I wanted to pass along the agenda and  RT staff report on
fare changes being recommended at RT at an RT board meeting on Monday,
June 22, 2009.  The most significant changes being considered are:
raising RT's cash fare from $2.25 to $2.50,  doing  away with the paper
transfer and requiring that people  pay  a new cash fee, or show their
daily or monthly pass, each time they get on a bus or light rail.

 

Based on the attached proposal, those of you cash riders who transfer to
and from RT and make round trips will be better off financially to buy a
daily pass for $6 ($3 if you are a senior or disabled), rather than
paying cash each time you board YOLOBUS and RT.
