NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING PROPOSED

CHANGE IN YOLOBUS FARE STRUCTURE

At 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2009, the Yolo County Transportation
District (YCTD) Board of Directors will conduct a public hearing
regarding a proposed change in the YOLOBUS fare structure. This change
is change is necessary because Sacramento Regional Transit District
(RT) has decided to eliminate accepting or issuing transfer slips,
effective September 1, 2009. The hearing will take place at the
Woodland City Council Chambers, second floor, 300 First Street,
Woodland, CA 95695.

With RT adopting a revised fare structure that eliminates transfer
slips, it will be necessary for YCTD to modify its fare structure for
those who either transfer to or from the RT system using a paper
transfer. (Monthly pass and daily pass riders are no affected.)
Proposed fare changes would become effective September 1, 2009.

Transfers will no longer be issued for riders transferring from YOLOBUS
to RT, or from RT to YOLOBUS. Riders who pay cash and ride both systems
are encouraged to buy a daily pass from either YOLOBUS or RT.

For rides within the YOLOBUS system, YOLOBUS will continue to issue
transfers. It is proposed that these transfers be valid for up to 75
minutes, for YOLOBUS riders transferring to another YOLOBUS. YOLOBUS
transfers cannot be used to complete a round trip.

Those wishing to provide input at the hearing are encouraged to attend.
Those who cannot attend the public hearing may write to the District
with suggestions and comments. The mailing address is: Yolo County
Transportation District, 350 Industrial Way, Woodland, CA 95776 or by
email to ksouza at yctd.org. Comments may be placed by phone at (530)
661-0816 extension 19.
