Yolobus Public Service Announcement

 

 

Yolobus Detours due to AMGEN Bike Race

 

Sunday May 15, starting at 8am: 10th St will be closed between N and L
St.  No Yolobus detours expected.

 

Monday May 16, 2011 starting at 9am

*         L Street will be closed between 9th and 15th Streets  

*         N Street will be closed between 9th and 18th Streets

*         P Street will be closed between 15th and 18th Streets

*         9th Street will be closed between L and N Streets

*         18th Street will be closed between L and P Streets

These closures are not expected to affect AM Commute/Express routes.

 

Route 42A/42B Detour

Leaving downtown Sacramento: Route 42A/42B will begin on 7th at K bus
stop (instead of L at 13th), turn right on L Street, and continue on
route.  Arriving into downtown Sacramento: Route 42A/42B will head east
on J Street, turn right on 7th Street, and end route on 7th at K Street.

 

Route 240 Detour

Heading east on J Street, turn right on 7th Street, turn right on L
Street, and continue on route.

 

Monday May 16, 2011 starting approximately 3pm

Schedule subject to change due to uncertainty of bike racers arrival
into downtown Sacramento.

9th Street will have rolling closures between E and L Street.

 

Route 39, 43, 44, 45, 230, 231, 232 PM Detours

Route will start at Q at 5th St (instead of H at 11th), proceed east on
Q Street, turn left on 14th Street, turn left on P Street, turn right on
8th Street, turn left on L Street, and continue on route.  

List of available bus stops for PM Commute/Express Routes:

 

1.      Q at 5th (first bus stop departure timepoint)

2.      Q at 7th

3.      Q at 9th

4.      Q at 10th

5.      Q at 11th

6.      Q at 13th

7.      P at 14th

8.      P at 13th (timepoint)

9.      P at 11th

10.  8th at P

11.  8th at O

12.  8th at N

13.  L at 6th (timepoint)

14.  L at 5th 




No other bus stops will be serviced during detour.

 

Route 241 PM Detour

Leaving downtown Sacramento: Route 241 will begin on 7th at K (instead
of 9th at K), turn right on L Street, and continue on route. Arriving
into downtown Sacramento: Route 241 will (after crossing the Tower
Bridge) turn right on 3rd Street, turn left on Q Street, and end route
on Q at 5th Street (bus will continue as route 45).

 

Route 43R PM Detour

Arriving into downtown Sacramento, Route 43R will end route on Q at 5th
Street and will NOT continue route to H at 11th Street (bus will
continue as route 231 at 6:06 PM).
