New Woodland to Davis Commute Service
As Woodland grows in the Spring Lake neighborhoods, there is now an increased need for more transportation services, specifically for commuters. Yolobus will now provide additional worry-free, environmentally friendly, and affordable alternative for commuters to and from Davis. Due to the added commuters, Yolobus will add a new commuter route to meet the needs of residents.
Routes 42A, 42B will continue to provide a crucial link between Woodland, Davis, West Sacramento, and the Sacramento International Airport. Route 242 currently provides commuter service between Woodland and Davis. In addition to these routes, Yolobus will be adding a second Commuter Route - 243. The additional service will begin January 4th, 2015 and will run Monday through Friday with two morning trips beginning at 7:15am and 7:45am and returning trips from Davis at 5:09pm and 5:39pm.
This service is not just easy and convenient for commuters, but it is also very affordable, as the cost is only $2 for a regular fare and $1 for seniors (62+), disabled, and/or youth. Students from UC Davis, CSU Sacramento, and Los Rios Community College ride at no additional cost by showing their valid school ID.
