Downtown Sacramento - State Capitol Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 4th 2015

Reroute | State Capitol Egg Hunt

On Saturday, April 4th 2015 from 7:00 am till 2:00 pm, portions of Capitol Mall (between 8th and 10th St.) and 10th St. (between L and N St.) will be closed for the State Capitol Egg Hunt.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted from 7:00 am till 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 4th 2015. The affected bus routes include:


*         Route 42A/42B - Intercity

*         Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

The following bus stops will not be served:


*         9th St. at L St.

*         5th St. at Capitol Mall

*         Capitol Mall at 7th (Only Routes 42A and 42B will not serve this bus stop)

Moreover, the Yolo County Transportation District received additional information about the 5th Street Entertainment and Sports Center (ESC) Construction Project, and was informed that 5th St. (between L and J St.) in Downtown Sacramento will be closed from Friday, April 3rd 2015 at 8:00 pm until Sunday, April 5th 2015 at 6:00 pm. All reroutes related to the 5th St. Closure will be effective during the specified timeframe.
