Update on the West Sacramento Farmers' Market Reroute

Thursday, June 4th 2015


Starting Thursday, June 4th 2015 until Thursday, September 24th 2015, West Capitol Ave. in West Sacramento will be closed for the weekly West Sacramento Farmers Market.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through West Capitol Ave. will be rerouted every Thursday from 01:30 PM (instead of 2:00 PM) until 09:00 PM. The routes affected by the closure include:


*         Route 42A/42B - Intercity

*         Route 35 - Southport Local

*         Route 40/41 - West Sacramento Local

*         Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

*         Route 241 - West Sacramento Commute

The following bus stops will be closed:


*         West Capitol Ave. and Jefferson (Westbound and Eastbound)

*         West Capitol Ave. and Merkley

*         Westacre Rd. and West Capitol Ave.

A temporary bus stop on West Capitol at Merkley, across the street from the Transit Center, will be opened during the reroute times for eastbound trips into Downtown Sacramento.
