Reroutes & Detours | Weekly Update

Reroute | March for Babies
On Saturday, April 30th 2016, from 5:00 am till 3:00 pm, Capitol Mall and the Tower Bridge will be closed for the March for Babies event. Due to these closures, Yolobus Routes traveling through West Sacramento into Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted during the specified times. The affected bus routes include Routes 42A, 42B, 40 and 240. Yolobus will resume normal service after 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 30th 2016.

The affected bus routes include:

*         Route 42A/42B - Intercity

*         Route 40 - West Sacramento Local

*         Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

*
The following bus stops will not be served:

*         5th St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)

*         3rd St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)

*         Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         W. Capitol Ave & Hotel

*         N St. at 4th

*         N St. at 7th

*         9th St. at L

*         5th St. at Capitol Mall

*         Capitol Mall at 7th

*         Capitol Mall at 3rd

*         Capitol Mall at Front (Eastbound and Westbound)

Reroute | Pony Express Races

On Sunday, May 1st 2016, from 3:00 am till 2:30 pm, Capitol Mall and the Tower Bridge will be closed for the Pony Express Races. Due to these closures, Yolobus Routes traveling through West Sacramento into Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted during the specified times. The affected bus routes include Routes 42A, 42B, 40 and 240. Yolobus will resume normal service after 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 1st, 2016.

The affected bus routes include:


*         Route 42A/42B- Intercity

*         Route 40 - West Sacramento Local

*         Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

The following bus stops will not be served:


*         Garden at W. Capitol Ave (Northbound and Southbound)

*         5th St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)

*         3rd St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)

*         Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         W. Capitol Ave & Hotel

*         N St. at 4th

*         N St. at 7th

*         J St. at 9th

*         J St. at 10th

*         J St. at 11th

*         J St. at 14th

*         15th at K St.

*         L St. at 13th

*         L St. at 11th

*         9th St. at L

*         5th St. at Capitol Mall

*         Capitol Mall at 7th

*         Capitol Mall at 3rd

*         Capitol Mall at Front (East and Westbound)

Please board buses at J St. at 8th or the West Sacramento Transit Center

Reroute | Winters' Youth Day

On Saturday, April 30th 2016, Main St. (between Railroad and East St.) will be closed for the Winters' Youth Day event. Due to the closure, Yolobus Route 220 will be rerouted from 7:00 am till 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 25th 2015. Yolobus will resume normal service the next day.

The affected bus routes include:

*         Route 220 - Intercity

The following bus stop will not be served on Saturday, April 25th 2015:


*         Main St. at Railroad Avenue (Eastbound)
