Saturday Afternoon is Major Event in Downtown Sacramento
Please note that Saturday, December 31, 2016, is a major event day and routes 40, 42A, 42B and 240 will terminate at the West Sacramento Transit Center with Y Shuttle Service providing service into and out of Downtown Sacramento during the major event until the early evening.  Please go to http://yolobus.com/routes/index.php for schedules for each route during a major event shown in "Yellow" highlight.   Y Shuttle service information can be found at http://www.yolobus.com/y/ .

New Year's Eve Celebration and Fireworks
Then on Saturday, December 31st 2016, between 7:00 pm and 10:00pm, the Tower Bridge in Sacramento will be closed for the New Year's Eve Celebrations and Fireworks. Due to this closure, all Yolobus routes going through the Tower Bridge and Downtown Sacramento at the specified time will be rerouted. It includes the following routes: 40, 42A, 42B and 240. Please refer to the maps for the routes and bus stops' changes.


Routes affected by the New Year's Eve Celebration & Fireworks:

*         40 (West Sacramento Local)

*         240 (West Sacramento Shuttle)

*         42A (Intercity Clockwise)

*         42B (Intercity Counter-Clockwise

Bus Stops Closed due to the New Year's Eve Celebration & Fireworks:

*         5th at G St. (NB/SB)

*         3rd at G St.

*         Tower Bridge Gateway and Raley Field

*         West Capitol Ave at Hotel


Downtown Sacramento

*         Capitol Mall at Front (EB/WB)

*         N St. at 4th

*         N St. at 7th

*         8th at N St.
