Reroute & Detours| Weekly Update

Downtown Sacramento Reroute | Riverfront Reconstruction Project Closure

Starting Tuesday, March 1st 2016 through Monday, May 2nd 2016, the Yolobus bus stop at 3rd and Capitol Mall will be closed due to the Riverfront Reconstruction Project. Please board buses at Capitol Mall and Front Street (EB) near Embassy Suites in Downtown Sacramento.


Downtown Sacramento Reroute | Capitol Beer Fest

On Sunday, March 6th 2016, from 6:00 am till 7:00 pm, Capitol Mall (between 3rd and 7th St.) will be closed due to the 6th annual Capitol Beer Fest event.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted from 6:00 am till 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 6th 2016. The affected bus routes include:


*         Route 42A/42B - Intercity

*         Route 40 - West Sacramento Local

*         Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

The following bus stops will not be served:


*         5th St. at Capitol Mall

*         J St. at 6th (Routes 42B, 240, and 40 will not serve this bus stop)

*         J St. at 8th (Routes 42B, 240, and 40 will not serve this bus stop)
