[Yolobus Public Announcement] Expect Delays : Sacramento International Airport and near U.C. Davis around Hutchison Due to Political Events

Expect major traffic delays on Interstate 5 at Sacramento International Exit between 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm today. A political event related to Donald Trump is scheduled for 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm this afternoon and evening at the Sacramento International Airport.   Caltrans and the CHP urge motorists trying to make their flights to add additional travel time to the airport and to expect delays lasting more than an hour.   Yolobus riders on routes 42A, 42B and potentially 45 could be impacted, depending on if traffic near the airport is heavily congested.

In addition, Yolobus routes traveling through Davis should expect delays due to a separate political event involving Bernie Sanders occurring at UC Davis at Hutchison Field starting at 5 pm.  Riders on routes 42A, 42B, 43, 44, 220C, 231, 242, 243 could be impacted.
