Reroutes & Detours Weekly Update

Reroute | Sacramento Pride 2016

On Friday, June 3rd 2016 from 6:00 pm through Saturday, June 4th 2016 at 11:00 pm, Capitol Mall (between 3rd and 7th St.) will be closed for the Sacramento Pride event.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through Capitol Mall will be rerouted from 6:00 PM on Friday, June 3rd until 11:00 PM the next day. Yolobus will resume normal service after 11:00 PM on Saturday, June 4th. The routes affected by the closure include:

*         Route 42A/42B

*         Route 40

*         Route 41

*         Route 240

The following bus stop will be closed for the duration of the event:

*         5th at Capitol Mall

*         J St. at 8th (Closed to Route 240 and 42B Only)

*         J St. at 6th (Closed to Route 240 and 42B Only)

Moreover, Route 42B, 40, and 240 will be rerouted to Q St. for one hour on Saturday, June 6th 2016.
Bus stops located on N St. will be temporarily closed for the Parade from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm.

Reroute | Kaiser Permanente Women's Fitness Festival

On Sunday, June 5th 2016 from 5:00 am till 2:30 pm, multiple streets in Downtown Sacramento will be closed for the Kaiser Permanente 5k event.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through Sacramento will be rerouted from 5:00 am until 2:30 pm on Sunday, June 5th 2016. Yolobus will resume normal service at noon. The routes affected by the closure include:


*         Route 42A/42B

*         Route 240

The following bus stop will be closed for the duration of the event:


*         J St. at 9th

*         J St. at 10th

*         J St. at 11th

*         J St. at 14th

*         15th St. at K

*         L St. at 13th

*         L St. at 11th

*         9th St. at L

We encourage our riders to board our buses at the Capitol Mall at 7th Bus Stop.

Reroute | Village Parkway Closure and Route 35 Reroute

On Monday June 6, 2016 through Friday July 15, 2016 Stonegate Drive and Village Parkway will be closed for construction. Due to the closure, Yolobus Route 35 will be rerouted from Monday, June 6, 2016 through Friday July 15, 2016.

Routes affected by the closure:

*         Route 35

The following bus stop will be closed for the duration of the road construction:

*         Stonegate at Mesa Grande (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         Stonegate at La Jolla (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         Village Parkway at Stonegate (Northbound and Southbound)

*         Lake Washington at Redwood (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         Lake Washington at Highland (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         Lake Washington at Stonegate (Eastbound and Westbound)


Please board buses at N. Beach at Gateway
Or Stonegate at Lake Washington (Northbound or Southbound)
