Reroutes & Detours | Weekly Update

Reroute | Golden Gate Dr. Construction Closure
>From Wednesday, October 19th through Wednesday, November 2nd, Golden Gate Drive between Cooper Island and Half Moon Bay Circle in West Sacramento will be closed due to construction. Route 35 and Route 39 will be rerouted during these specific times.
Routes affected by the closure:

  *   Route 35
  *   Route 39
Stops that will be closed during the reroute:

*         Golden Gate & Tortola (SB)

*         Oakland Bay Dr. at Golden Gate (EB)

o   This stop will be moved around the corner onto Golden Gate Dr. and Oakland Bay Dr. (SB) - see map below
Please board buses at Southport at Oakland Bay Dr.

Reroute | Capital City Classic Run

On Sunday, October 23rd , from 7:00 am till 12:00 pm, Capitol Mall and the Tower Bridge will be closed due to the Golden Arches Run. Due to these closures, Yolobus routes traveling through Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted only during the specified times. The affected bus routes include


*         Route 42A/42B - Intercity

*         Route 40 - West Sacramento Local

*         Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

The following bus stops will not be served:


*         5th St. at Capitol Mall (Northbound and Southbound)

*         3rd at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)

*         Tower Bridge Gateway  & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound)

*         W. Capitol Ave & Hotel

*         N St. at 4th

*         N St. at 7th

*         9th St. at L

*         5th St. at Capitol Mall

*         Capitol Mall at 7th

*         Capitol Mall at 3rd

*         Capitol Mall at Front (Eastbound and Westbound)

Please board buses at J St. at 8th or the West Sacramento Transit Center
