YOLOBUS PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Reroutes & Detours | Weekly Update

Reroute | Special Detour for 42A, 42B, 40, 240
All day Saturday, October 1st, 2016 from 3:00am till midnight, Capitol Mall and the Tower Bridge will be closed due to the Capitol City Classic, Sacramento Century Race, and a Golden1 Center event. Due to these closures, Yolobus will provide a FREE shuttle to/from the West Sacramento Transit Center and Downtown Sacramento. Shuttles are expected to be at J St. at 6th every 15 and 35 minutes after the hour. Routes 42A, 42B, 40 and 240 will layover at the West Sacramento Transit Center to wait for the Shuttle for any necessary connections. Yolobus will resume normal service at the start of the day on Sunday, October 2nd.
Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through Capitol Mall and Tower Bridge will be rerouted during the specified times and riders may experience some minor delays.
Routes affected by the closure:

  *   Route 40
  *   Route 240

  *   Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (WB)
  *   5th St. at G St (NB)
  *   5th St. at G St (SB)
  *   3rd St. at G St (NB)
  *   3rd St. at G St (SB)
  *   Capitol Mall at Front St (WB)
  *   Capitol Mall at Front St (EB)
  *   Capitol Mall at 3rd St (EB)
  *   N St. at 4th St.
  *   N St. at 7th St.
  *   8th St. at N St.
  *   Capitol Mall at 7th St.
  *   9th St. at L St.
  *   5th St. at L St. (NB)
  *   L St. at 4th St. (WB)
  *   L St. at 8th (EB)
  *   L St. at 10th St. (WB)
  *   L St. at 11th St. (WB)
  *   L St. at 13th St. (WB)
Please board buses at the West Sacramento Transit Center (inbound) or any Yolobus stop on J St. (outbound).

Reroute | Woodland 3rd Street Closure

>From Monday, October 3, 2016 to Friday, October 7, 2016, 3rd Street between Beamer and Clover in Woodland will be closed due to construction. Yolobus will resume normal service on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

The affected bus routes include:

*         Route 210- West Woodland (Clockwise Loop)

*         Route 211- West Woodland (Counter-Clockwise Loop)

*         Route 212- East Woodland (Clockwise Loop)

*         Route 214- East Woodland (Counter- Clockwise Loop)

The following bus stops will be closed during the event:

*         3rd Street at Clover

*         3rd Street at Beamer

*         Beamer at 5th Street
Please board buses at Court St. at 2ndStreet
