Downtown Sacramento -March For Science (Prior to the Event)

Reroute | Downtown Sacramento March For Science
On Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 8:00 am till 12:00 pm, Downtown will be closed for the March for Science, Sacramento. Due to these closures, Yolobus routes traveling through downtown Sacramento will be re-routed during the specified times. The affected routes include Routes 42A/42B,40 & 240. Yolobus will resume normal service after 5:00 pm. Routes 42A/42B will be detoured prior to the start of the event to 5th at T St. in Sacramento to provide more direct access to the event.

Yolobus will operate additional 42A/42B buses to provide additional capacity prior to and after the event.

  *   42A (Intercity Clockwise)
  *   42B (Intercity Counter-Clockwise)
  *   40 (West Sacramento Local)
  *   240 (West Sacramento Shuttle)
Bus Stops Closed

  *   15th at K St.(Southbound)
  *   L St. at 13th (Westbound)
  *   L St. at 10th (Westbound)
  *   9th at L St. (Southbound)
  *   5th at Capitol Mall (Closed for 240)
  *   Capitol Mall at 3rd St.
  *   J St at 8th St
  *   J St at 9th St
  *   J St at 10th St
  *   J St at 11th St

On Saturday, April 22nd 2017, between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm, Downtown Sacramento will be hosting the March For Science event. Due to this event, Yolobus Routes 42A, 42B, 40 and 240 will be rerouted for the duration of the event.
 Yolobus will operate additional 42A/42B buses to provide additional capacity prior to and after the event.
