Reroutes, Detours and Potential Traffic Congestion



New Year's Eve (2017-18)

(Tower Bridge)

Sunday, December 31st 2017



On Sunday, December 31st 2017, between 6:00 pm and 10:00pm, the Tower Bridge in Sacramento will be closed for the New Year's Eve Celebrations and Fireworks. Due to this closure, all Yolobus routes going through the Tower Bridge and Downtown Sacramento at the specified time will be rerouted. It includes the following routes: 40, 42A, 42B and 240. Please refer to the maps for the routes and bus stops' changes.



Routes affected by the Closure:

  *   40 (West Sacramento Local)
  *   240 (West Sacramento Shuttle)
  *   42A (Intercity Clockwise)
  *   42B (Intercity Counter-Clockwise

West Sacramento

  *   Tower Bridge Gateway and Raley Field

Downtown Sacramento

  *   Capitol Mall at Front (EB/WB)
  *   N St. at 7th

Downtown Sacramento: Construction, Bus Stop Closure



On Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 through Friday, June 1st, 2018, the bus stop serving 9th St at K St will be closed. In addition to the stop closure, 9th street will only have one open lane of traffic from I St. to L St. Pick up and drop off that would occur on 9th and K will have to take place on 9th and L.



 The routes affected by the closure include:

  *   Davis AM Express Routes
  *   Woodland AM Express Routes
  *   Route 39 AM
  *   Route 241 AM
  *   Route 241 PM

The following bus stop will be closed for the duration of the event:

  1.  9Th St. at K St.
