YOLOBUS PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Reroutes, Detours and Potential Traffic Congestion
Saturday, March 16th 2019 & Sunday, March 17th 2019

Downtown Sacramento - Shamrock'n 5K and Half Marathon
Saturday, March 16th 2019 & Sunday, March 17th 2019
 Reroute | Shamrock'n 5K and Half Marathon

On Saturday, March 16th 2019, from 6:30 am till 1:00 pm, and on Sunday, March 17th 2019, from 6:30 am till 1:00 pm, Capitol Mall and the Tower Bridge will be closed for the Shamrock'n Races. Due to these closures, Yolobus Routes traveling through Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted only during the specified times. The affected bus routes include Routes 42A, 42B, 40, and 240. Yolobus will resume normal service after 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 16th 2019, and after 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 17th 2019.

The affected bus routes include:


  *   Route 42A/42B - Intercity
  *   Route 40 - West Sacramento Local
  *   Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

The following bus stops will not be served:


  *   Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound)
  *   Capitol Mall at Front (Eastbound and Westbound)
  *   5th St. at Capitol Mall
  *   N St. at 7th
  *   Capitol Mall at 7th

Temporary stops will be served for routes 40 and 240 at:

  *   J St. at 6th St.
  *   J St. at 8th St.
