Significant changes to the existing SacRT bus network go into effect on September 8, 2019. these changes are being promoted as SacRT Forward, and many of the existing routes, schedules, and services are being updated.
SacRT is moving forward with improvements that reduce congestion and lead to economic growth. Almost every bus route has been adjusted to improve frequency, scheduling, and weekend service. SacRT has raised the standards for safety and cleanliness with system-wide improvements while lowering fares. SacRT is a convenient, safe and clean transportation option in the Sacramento region.
