[Yolobus Public Announcement] September 20th Public Hearing - Proposed Suspension of Yolobus Routes 43, 43R, 45 and 230

At 7:00 p.m., on Monday, September 20, 2021, the Yolo County Transportation District (YCTD) Board of Directors will conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed suspension to Yolobus services in Davis, Woodland, and Sacramento. The proposed service modifications include suspension of Routes 43, 43R, 45 and 230 which operate Monday through Friday from approximately 5:45 A.M. to approximately 8:15 A.M. and from approximately 4:00 P.M. to approximately 6:30 P.M.

Driver and staffing shortages, due in part to pandemic-related impacts, have required Yolobus to reallocate available resources and adjust operating plans and schedules, including proposing to temporarily suspend Express and Commuter Routes 43, 43R, 45 and 230.

The public is invited to provide input on the proposed service suspensions. The options for providing public comment are as follows:


  *   Submit written comments via email by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021, to Kathy Souza, Clerk of the Board, at ksouza at yctd.org with the subject line: For Public Comment.


  *   Make a public comment during the public hearing, which will take place during the Monday, September 20, 2021, YCTD Board of Directors meeting at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom webinar platform.
