[Dhsbb-jazz] Playathon Friday - Last reminder for students and parents!

Important Playathon reminders for students (parents, please pass along)

(1) You must bring your instrument home from school on Thursday or Friday (no access to DHS band room on Friday night)
(2) Bring your permission slip (if not already turned in), your pledge sheet and pledges (if you have some) at 6:45 pm Friday to Emerson Indoor Commons
(3) Bring your pep band music folders
(4) Bring your favorite dance music on iPod (we will have amplifier and speakers)...see Eli Smith
(5) Bring Nerf toys, Twister, board games etc
(6) Bring sleeping bag if you would like to rest
(7) Bring snack food to share: (A-H: fruit or sweet treats; I-O: vegetables or crackers,chips etc; P-Z: fruit juice, soda etc)
(8) Wear comfortable Disney-theme costume if you wish - individual and group prize

Important Playathon reminders for parents:

(1) Bring newspaper, paper bags, toilet paper  for costume contest;  cake for cakewalk; or desserts to share
(2) Stay and listen from 7-9 pm...enjoy some desserts, join the cakewalk for a chance to win a delicious pie or cake, pledge $25 to your child's fund and join in the band or conduct!
(3) Students will be ready to go home/be picked up at 7 a.m. Saturday at Emerson Jr High (2121 Calaveras). Please come and lend a hand in clean-up to make it go faster (the chaperones will be tired by then!)
(4) If a student is planning to leave early, it needs to say so on the signed permission slip. If changes need to be made, either go through check-in with your child, or download a new form from the DHS band booster website and fill it out  to bring at checkin http://groups.dcn.org/dhsbandboosters . If your child doesn't feel well,  we will call your number listed on the permission form.
