Here are the reminders to parents of students going on the trip:

1. The trip is coming up next week!
2. Packing reminder list is attached. Read it over carefully. Suitcases
must be dropped off Tuesday 5/16/17 at the school band room between 4-7 pm or
your student will not have a suitcase taken on the trip- we are not
planning to take suitcases on the airplane. Separate backpack supplies for
the first day and a half of the trip will be packed separately. Everyone
will be reunited with their suitcases Friday night.
3. The weather in Victoria will be cool - 60-65 during the day and 48-50 at
night. Dress appropriately.
4. Lists of which flight your student is on for  Thursday, 5/18 will be
posted in the band room. It is your student's responsibility to be at
school at the appropriate time to leave in time with their group.
5. ** Remind your student to bring a water bottle they can refill for the
trip **
6. Have your student bring a student ID as well as passport on the trip. If
possible we will collect student passports Tuesday at baggage check-in and
hold for students until travel day. This is to avoid any panicked, last
minute runs home for missing passports on Thursday.
7. Look into the "whats" app for your iphone as a way to save money texting
with your child on the trip as well as your child's texting during the trip.
