Reroute & Detours| Weekly Update

Reroute | Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

On Sunday, May 3rd 2015, Capitol Mall (between 5th and 7th St.) will be closed for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through Capitol Mall will be rerouted from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Yolobus will resume normal service after 5:00 PM. The Routes affected by the closure include:


*         Route 42A/42B

*         Route 40

*         Route 240

The following bus stop will be partially closed:


*         5 St. at Capitol Mall

o   Route 42A (Closed)

o   Route 42B (Drop-Off Only)

o   Route 40 (Closed)

o   Route 240 (Closed for Outbound buses)

[UPDATE] Reroute | Update on 5th St. Entertainment & Sports Complex in Downtown Sacramento

Yolobus was notified that 5th St. (between L and J St.) will be closed on Saturday, May 2nd 2015 (all day). A similar closure will occur on Saturday, May 10th 2015 (all day). Reroutes and detours related to the Entertainment & Sports Complex 5th St. Closure will be in effect on those days.

All reroutes related to the 5th St. Closure in Downtown Sacramento for the Entertainment and Sports Complex are still in effect and until further notice.


[UPDATE] Reroute | City of Woodland's Main St. Closure

Yolobus received additional information on the Courthouse's closures in Woodland. The Main St. closure will be extended until Monday, May 11th 2015.


Next Week Reroutes

Starting Thursday, May 7th 2015 and every Thursdays until the end of September, Reroutes will be in effect for both the Capitol Mall Farmers Market in Downtown Sacramento and the Farmers Market in West Sacramento. More details will be sent out to our riders in the next few days.

Moreover, the AMGEN Tour of California starts next week. More information on reroutes for the event will be sent out in upcoming days.
