Reroute & Detours|Summer Farmers Markets

Reroute | Downtown Sacramento & West Sacramento

Starting Thursday, May 5th 2016 until Thursday, September 22nd 2016,Capitol Mall in Downtown Sacramento will be partially closed for the weekly Capitol Mall Farmers Market.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through Capitol Mall will be rerouted every Thursday from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The following routes will affected by the closure:

  *   Route 42A/42B - Intercity
  *   Route 40/41 - West Sacramento Local
  *   Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle

The following bus stop will be partially closed:

  *   5th St. at Capitol Mall
     *   Route 42A (Closed)
     *   Route 42B (Drop-Off Only)
     *   Route 40/41 (Closed)
     *   Route 240 (Closed for Outbound buses)

Moreover, starting Thursday, May 19th 2016 until Thursday, August 25th2016, West Capitol Ave. in West Sacramento will also be closed for the weekly West Sacramento Farmers Market.

Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through West Capitol Ave. will be rerouted every Thursday from 02:00 PM until 09:00 PM. The routes affected by the closure include:

  *   Route 42A/42B - Intercity
  *   Route 35 - Southport Local
  *   Route 40/41 - West Sacramento Local
  *   Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle
  *   Route 241 - West Sacramento Commute

The following bus stops will be closed:

  *   West Capitol Ave. and Jefferson (Westbound and Eastbound)
  *   West Capitol Ave. and Merkley
  *   Westacre Rd. and West Capitol Ave.

A temporary bus stop on West Capitol at Merkley, across the street from the Transit Center, will be opened during the reroute times for eastbound trips into Downtown Sacramento.
