Reroutes, Detours and Potential Traffic Congestion | Weekly Update


Downtown Sacramento - Pre Event Women's March on Sacramento 2018
Saturday, January 20th 2018

On Saturday, January 20th 2018, between 8:30am and 10:00 am, Routes 42A/42B will be detoured prior to the start of the vent to 5th at T St. in Sacramento to provide more direct access to the event. Yolobus will operate additional 42A/42B buses to provide additional capacity prior to and after the event.

Routes affected by the Closure

  *   42A (Intercity Clockwise)
  *   42B (Intercity Counter-Clockwise)
Temporary Stop: Prior to the Event

  *   5 Th St. at T St.

Bus Stops For Pick up: After the Event 3pm

  *   L St. at 13th (Westbound)
  *   Capitol Mall at 7th St.
  *   9th St. at L St.

Downtown Sacramento - During Event Women's March on Sacramento 2018
Saturday, January 20th 2018

On Saturday, January 20th 2018, between 10:30am and 3:00 pm, Capitol Mall (Eastbound) will be closed for the women's March on Sacramento. Yolobus traveling through downtown Sacramento will be rerouted during the specified times. The affected routes include Routes 42A/42B, 40, and 240. Yolobus will operate additional 42A/42B buses to provide additional capacity prior to and after the event.

Routes affected by the Closure

  *   42A (Intercity Clockwise)
  *   42B (Intercity Counter-Clockwise)
  *   40 (West Sacramento Local)
  *   240 (West Sacramento Local Shuttle)
Closed Bus Stops:

  *   Tower Bridge at Raley Field (WB & EB)
  *   Capitol Mall at Front St. (WB & EB)
  *   Capitol Mall at 3rd St.
  *   N St. at 7th St.
Temporary Stop:


  *   J St. at 8th St. (40 & 240 ONLY)
