NOTICE OF THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY AIRPORT SERVICE BY YOLOBUS & UNITRANS

This Thanksgiving break, Yolobus and Unitrans offer a worry-free, environmentally-friendly and inexpensive way for travelers to get to the Sacramento International Airport.

(Woodland, CA) As Americans plan to make over 40 million trips in the five days surrounding Thanksgiving, YOLOBUS and Unitrans are preparing to bring thousands of Sacramento and Yolo County residents to Sacramento International Airport on Wednesday, November 21st, the day before Thanksgiving. Aside from convenience, perhaps the best part about this service is the money savings. Yolobus fares are $2.25 for regular passengers and $1.10 for senior (62+), disabled and youth passengers. Unitrans fares are $1.25 and all passes are accepted. UC Davis (UCD) undergraduates, CSU Sacramento undergraduates, and Los Rios students ride for FREE with valid student ID.

>From the UCD campus, Yolobus and Unitrans bus operating schedules will be offset so that there is a bus leaving the UCD campus approximately once every 30 minutes, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Running 18 times per day, Yolobus Routes 42A and 42B provide regular service to and from Sacramento International Airport. These Yolobus routes can be boarded in downtown Sacramento, West Sacramento, Davis and Woodland. In addition to the regularly scheduled Yolobus 42 routes, Unitrans will offer supplemental trips between UCD and the Sacramento International Airport on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018. Unitrans will run this service every hour from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additionally, Yolobus now has 3 shelters at Sacramento International Airport located at Terminal B for your convenience and comfort during this holiday season.

After the holiday, Yolobus can return travelers to their destinations via its regular bus routes and schedules. Unitrans will not be providing shuttles from the airport to Davis after the holiday.

The Yolo County Transportation District administers Yolobus, which operates local and intercity bus service 365 days a year in Yolo County and neighboring areas. Yolobus serves Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, Woodland, Downtown Sacramento, Sacramento International Airport, Cache Creek Casino Resort, Esparto, Madison, Dunnigan, Yolo and Knights Landing. As an added convenience for riders, Yolobus makes connections with other local public transportation systems, including Sacramento Regional Transit District buses and light rail, as well as Unitrans in Davis and Vacaville Transit.
