YOLOBUS Announces Free Rides from Noon Friday, November 16th through Sunday, November  18th
To minimize waiting and boarding time in these poor air quality conditions, Yolobus has just announced that starting out at noon today, Friday, November 16th, and including Saturday, November 17th and Sunday, November 18th, anyone boarding Yolobus fixed route and Yolobus paratransit services can ride for free.  This offer even includes Yolobus shuttles to and from the Golden One Center, where Kevin Hart is scheduled to perform tonight.
“We actually advise those with respiratory difficulties to not even go outside today, if possible,” said Terry Bassett, YCTD’s Executive Director.  “But for those that need to travel, we want to minimize how much time they need to spend outside.”
There will be no fare refunds for those who have already ridden today or will ride Saturday or Sunday.
Yolobus fares for fixed route and paratransit services will resume on Monday, November 19th.
The Yolo County Transportation District administers Yolobus, which operates local and intercity bus service 365 days a year in Yolo County and neighboring areas. Yolobus serves Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, Woodland, Downtown Sacramento, Sacramento International Airport, Cache Creek Casino Resort, Esparto, Madison, Dunnigan, Yolo and Knights Landing.
