[Yolobus Public Announcement] SPECIAL NOTICE: Route 215 Schedule Changes Effective 02/11/2021

Yolobus Adding Trips to Alleviate Route 215 Crowding on Peak Trips to and from Cache Creek Casino Resort

We have been listening to your concerns about crowded buses and will do the following, effective immediately and happening 7 days a week.

Yolobus will run a second bus to alleviate passenger loads for three peak trips involving Casino Resort arrivals and departures centered around 7 am, 3 pm and 11 pm shifts.

In the Cache Creek Casino Resort-bound Direction: The driver of the first bus (departure times starting at 5:45 am, 1:45 pm and 9:45 pm from the County Fair Mall in Woodland) will limit boardings in our 45-foot buses to 26. Once 26 passengers are on board, the driver will continue stopping at Yolobus bus stops along the way to inform anyone remaining that a second bus will be picking them up shortly. The second bus (leaving the Mall in Woodland at 5:55 am, 1:55 pm and 9:55 pm) will pick up remaining waiting passengers.

In the Woodland-bound Direction: The driver of the first bus (departure times starting 7:07 am, 3:07 pm, and 11:07 pm from the Casino Resort) will limit boardings in our 45- foot buses to 26. Once 26 passengers are on board, the driver will continue stopping at Yolobus bus stops along the way to inform anyone remaining that a second bus will be picking them up shortly. The second bus (leaving the Casino Resort at 7:15 am, 3:15 pm and 11:15 pm) will pick up remaining waiting passengers.

As we gain experience, and better understand ridership levels, we may run a 40 foot bus on trips that normally carry no more than 15 passengers. Lastly, please always wear a face mask at bus stops and on the bus. Note that the CDC now recommends wearing 2 face masks while out in public
