Reroutes, Detours and Potential Traffic Congestion | Unplanned Update

Thursday, March 9, 2017
Downtown Sacramento – Shamrock’n 5K and Half Marathon
Saturday, March 11th 2017 & Sunday, March 12th 2017
Reroute | Shamrock’n 5K and Half Marathon
On Saturday, March 11th 2017, from 7:00 am till 2:00 pm, and on Sunday, March 12th 2017, from 7:00 am till 2:00 pm, Capitol Mall and the Tower Bridge will be closed for the Shamrock’n Races. Due to these closures, Yolobus Routes traveling through Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted only during the specified times. The affected bus routes include Routes 42A, 42B, 40, and 240. Yolobus will resume normal service after 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 11th 2017, and after 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 12th 2017.
The affected bus routes include:

  *   Route 42A/42B - Intercity
  *   Route 40 – West Sacramento Local
  *   Route 240 – West Sacramento Shuttle
The following bus stops will not be served:

  *   5th St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)
  *   3rd St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)
  *   Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound)
  *   W. Capitol Ave & Hotel
  *   N St. at 4th
  *   N St. at 7th
  *   8th at N St.
  *   9th St. at L
  *   J St. at 6th St.
  *   5th St. at Capitol Mall
  *   Capitol Mall at 7th
  *   Capitol Mall at 3rd
  *   Capitol Mall at Front (Eastbound and Westbound)
