Reroutes, Detours and Potential Traffic Congestion | Unplanned Update

Downtown Sacramento – Niello BMW Corporate Run 3.1

Reroute | Niello BMW Corporate Run 3.1

On Thursday, May 25th, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Capitol Mall (Between 3rd St and 4th St) will be closed due to the BMW Corporate Run. As a reminder, from 9:00 AM to 2:00Pm, Capitol Mall (Between 5th St and 6th St.) will also be closed for the weekly farmers Market. Due to these closures, Yolobus routes will be rerouted during the specified times. The affected bus routes include; Route 42A/B, 40, 41, 340 and the 240. Also, N St between 3rd St and 4th St will be closed.

The affected bus routes include:

  *   Route 42A/42B– Intercity
  *   Route 40 – West Sacramento Local
  *   Route 41 – West Sacramento Local
  *   Route 240 – West Sacramento Shuttle
  *   Route 340 – West Sacramento CalSTRS/Ziggurat, 340-Amtrak

The following bus stops will not be served:

  *   5th St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)
  *   3rd St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound)
  *   Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound)
  *   W. Capitol Ave & Hotel
  *   N St. at 4th
  *   N St. at 7th
  *    8th St at N St
  *   Capitol Mall at 3rd
  *   Capitol Mall at Front (East and Westbound)
  *   5th St at Capitol Mall

Also, N St between 3rd St and 4th St will be closed.

  *   Route 45 – Sacramento to Woodland Express
  *   Route 230 – Sacramento to Davis Express
  *   Route 231 – Sacramento to Davis Express
  *   Route 232 – Sacramento to Davis Express
  *   Route 241 – West Sacramento Commute
  *   Route 340 – West Sacramento CalSTRS/Ziggurat, 340-Amtrak
