two applications this month. One was approved and the other postponed
until the next RAC meeting.
OPC Chair, Teri Greenfield, said
the committee had met a couple of times. She asked Sheila Evans to
report on the Slide Presentation Project. Sheila explained that
she, Tsui and volunteer Alli Lathrop are progressing well. Some
material currently is on Googledocs and some is in Power Point format.
Sheila has designed a survey that she plans to use to gather
testimonials. Teri spoke about updating DCNews by adjusting the
format, length and frequency. She brought up the possibility of links
to the DCN Website and Facebook Fan Page. Jan suggested periodic
pieces submitted to the Davis Enterprise Briefly Column to highlight
new material on either the Fan Page or the Website.
9. Announcements - Bev Sykes noted that the Facebook Fan
Page Profile Picture has changed a couple of times in the
last week when graphic artist Scott Alumbaugh discovered that the
one that had been up for a month or so did not render readably on
mobile phones. Bev also reported that the Blogging Class has
morphed into a Bloggers Group that has met at a members' home. The
List created for the group is a very worthwhile asset.
