Meet DCN's new officers and board member
A warm welcome to new board member Sheila Evans! Sincere congratulations to Teri Greenfield and Bill Buchanan as DCN's new President and Vice President, respectively!
Teri Greenfield, President of DCN Board
Teri Greenfield is the new President of Davis Community Network. She is the Informatics Coordinator for the Center for Regional Change at UC Davis. She has previously worked as a data analyst/programmer and in website development and Internet marketing. Since 2001 she has volunteered at local schools managing listserves and PTA websites. She is an instructor for DCN and teaches classes in Social Media and the Changing Internet Landscape. She and her husband Steve have three children attending Davis schools.
Bill Buchanan is new Vice President of Davis Community Network. He is a senior writer/editor for Information and Educational Technology at UC Davis. He previously worked as a writer or editor at different newspapers in Northern California, including four years as editor of the Sacramento Business Journal. He hosts a Davis interview program, "Davisville," for KDRT-LP 95.7 FM in Davis. He and his wife, Kathryn, have two daughters, Megan and Eliza.
Sheila Evans has worked as DCN's office adminstrator for the past three years. Before joining DCN she spent 25 years in the restaurant and catering business as a chef and manager. She and her husband Mark have a son, Riley and daughter, Claire.
