Web Accessibility (for web designers)

DCN will offer a class on Accessibility for Websites: Best Practices, on March 9th. This class is highly recommended for local web designers, for those in community organizations and institutions who are responsible for web communication with diverse constituencies (compliance with Section 508), and for anyone who wants to understand effective web design for all.    This technically oriented class will cover web accessibility definitions, context and issues; costs and benefits; creation of a sample accessible website; and guidelines for testing web site accessibility.    As always, DCN encourages you to attend with questions, specific project needs, or expertise to share with others.
