Social Media and Nonprofits

We will provide an overview of the social media opportunities available to nonprofit organizations. We will discuss how today's modern nonprofits are using social media to increase awareness for their causes, inform and educate their communities, grow and engage their memberships, enhance fundraising, enhance advocacy efforts -- in short, to become far more effective in meeting their missions! What are the most popular social media choices and how does a nonprofit get started?
