Web Accessibility (for general public)

Does your organization have, or are you planning to have, a web site? Have you done everything you can to make sure that your web site is accessible to everyone? What about those with visual or cognitive impairments? Users with physical or motor-control difficulties that make mouse pointing difficult or impossible?

This class will generally discuss the Web Accessibility Initiative and familiarize students with the characteristics they should look for -- and ask for -- in an accessible web site.

This is not a web development class. They technical details of implementing accessibility will be in covered in a separate class intended for web designers.
