Add, Edit or Delete An Event In Your Web Calendar - How To

NOTE: If you're a SimpleSite user and have requested DCN's Web Team (msmosaic@dcn.org) to link your calendar to your SimpleSite, you will use the same steps as follows to add, edit, or delete events for your website.

 

  1. Log into the edit mode of your calendar by adding "/edit" to your calendar's web address (e.g. http://events.dcn.org/YourCalendarHere/edit).  Then hit the return-key.
  2. Select either "Edit Calendarar" or "Edit as a List".  The former will display in a grid format.  The latter a list.
  3. To add an event, click on the "Add a New Event" button.  A form where you can add details will pop up. Save your entry when you're done.
  4. To edit/delete an existing event, click on the event.  A form where you can change the details or delete the event will pop up.  Save your entry when you're done.
  5. Optional - To navigate to a different month, select from the drop down menu, then click the "Jump to Month" button.
