Create e-mail links?
I'd like to create a 'hot' e-mail link for our website http://groups.dcn.org/oursite/ - the kind of email address that automatically starts up an e-mail program. Is this possible using the SimpleSite 2.0 software?
Yes, this is possible. While you're in the edit interface, click on the "Insert external link" icon (the one which looks like a globe). From the template that comes up, remove the default text "http://" and replace it with "mailto:" follow by the email address (no space in between). For example, "mailto:msmosaic@dcn.org".
Then hit the "OK" button near the bottom.
