Altering the way news/events are displayed

Besides the stylesheet and the layout, changing the way news and events are displayed will also alter the website's appearance.

When you add "news items" or "events" to your SimpleSite, you can select one of the options governing where they will be displayed.  For events, this is true whether they are entered via DCN's web calendar or via the website's "event" type.  The steps are easy:

  1. Log in to your website
  2. While you're on the Home Page, select the "edit" tab.  From the row of options near the top, click on "news/events".  The appended template will be displayed.
  3. Explore the different options, change the item limits, and remember to click "Save" after youre'd done making the change(s).
  4. Log out when you're done.
