Regular Meeting January 7, 2004
Meeting Notes

Members present: Bodenhorn, Brattesani, Chiles, Evans, Hance. 
Yamagata
Members absent: Seth.
Visitors: Michael Levy

A.  Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm
B. The agenda was approved
C. Proposal reviews:
	1. A request from the Grande Neighborhood Association 
was presented by Michael Levy a leading member of the 
association's steering committee.
The proposal was approved with the following resources to be 
available to the group without charge indefinitely so long as the 
group maintains its current character:
	One DCN shell account with 10 MG storage space
	One DCN Simple Site
	One Mailman List
	One Forum
	Webteam help

	2. An augmentation of the Uman Sister City project was 
requested by John Chiles.
The request was reviewed and the following resources authorized:
	An additional 5 MB web storage space to be added
	to the Uman Sister City directory which is in the VME
	area of the DCN server.

	3.  The Community Comment Club proposal from Donna 
Lott via Richard Yamagata was deferred until Donna is no longer a 
candidate for a city council seat.  This decision was guided by 
DCN's requirement that it not provide support for candidates for 
political office.

	4.  A request was approved from John Chiles for extra 
space for the Auksucial project to augment the Auksucial 
Foundation material with educational material for the Lithuanian 
Farm Center. John hopes to be able to have some of the pages in 
Lithuanian.
	10 (ten) additional MB are authorized for the Auksucial 
directory

D.  The committee spent a few minutes reviewing its 
brainstorming last month on renovation / remodeling of the DCN 
Website.

The meeting adjourned at 7:40 pm
