Meeting Notes

Members present:  Brattesani, Chang, Gonzales, Yamagata (Temporary Chair)
Members absent:  Chiles, Crumley, Janet Meizel (Chair)
Visitors: None

1.  Call to order at 6:32PM

2.  Approve Agenda

There were no additions to the agenda as published.

MOTION/VOTE

Tsui Chang made a motion to approve the agenda and Bob Gonzales seconded the motion. The motion passed unaminously.

3.  Review Projects:

a) Request by Bob Gonzalez for a DCN web calendar.  He already has a SimpleSite.

MOTION/VOTE

Alan Brattsani made a motion to approve the request for a DCN web calendar.  Tsui Chang seconded the motion.  The motion passed with one abstention.

b) YES For Our Students

To support the passing of Measure W, a school bond, on the November ballot. Tsui Chang answered all the questions on behalf of the group since their representative Laurie Rollins could not attend due to a schedule conflict.

MOTION/VOTE

Bob Gonzales made a motion to approve the request for a web calendar.

Alan Brattasani seconded the motion.  The motion passed with one abstention.

c) Ratify upgrade of DVHS site to SimpleSite 2.0 and add a web calendar.  This motion was only to upgrade the server facilities of the web site and to add a calendar.

MOTION/VOTE

Alan Brattasani made the motion to upgrade the web site from SimpleSite 1to SimpleSite 2 and to add the web calendar.  The motion was approved unaminously.

4.  Discussions and Other Announcements

From Jan Meizel:

- I talked to Amy, the Davis High Ag instructor, who ways she would like to use the FFA site this year.

- I've been unable to contact Valery about the Winters site, but will keep trying.

Richard commented that he is in contact with the Winter'sParticipation Gallery for the Arts.

Jan Meizel:

I sat in on Tsui's SimpleSite introduction and it was GREAT! (Thanks)
